Uninteresting interests

“everyone i’ve ever loved” is in my interests list as a link, but apparently I’m the only person who has that interest.

I thought if you were the only person to list an interest, LJ didn’t turn it into a link. What’s different about this interest from all the ones I’ve got that aren’t links?

I believe that if someone else has the same interest, ever then the link turns and never goes back even if they permanently delete their account or uninterest that interest. There was a spate of people un-uniquing people's unique interests back in 03, I think.

So I've chanced on an interest that died out completely until I added it?

That makes me feel like an intruder in a ghost town on a mimetic world.

This, or possibly someone that's checked the privacy settings to remove themselves from search results, which I think also does it.
